Our History

Prema Brothers antique store is the oldest antique shop in Kandy - the Hill Captal of Sri Lanka. It is founded in 1910 during the era of his Royal Highness King George V and before the Independence of Sri Lanka (then Ceylon)

The Prema Brothers was founded by Late Mr. Premasinghe, the great grandfather of the current management. The store was certified by The Colombo Museum in the same year and the old certificate is still available at our vicinity. It is the oldest document we have inherited from our founder other than his own wedding photo, which is an antique itself in it's own right.

Until to this date, our business has been constantly expanding in size, scope, quality and most importantly the reputation. We have an excellent remarkable collection of antiques, curios and memorabilia at a very reasonable prices.

Delegates both Sri Lankan and foreign have been visiting our store since the inception of our antique store and have categorized our store as one of the best in Sri Lanka.

Our 4th generation continues the tradition and are in charge of the business, wowing to keep the familly legacy alive for the foreseeble fure.
